Biography of Gérôme Billois
Gérôme Billois has been with Wavestone for more than 20 years and has developed extensive expertise in cybersecurity and risk management.
Gérôme is a Partner in the Cybersecurity Business Unit at Wavestone. He began his career in 2001 and joined the firm in 2004 when it was still called Solucom. He has since built his career, rising through the ranks to Partner.
With a strong background in cybersecurity, he has developed deep expertise in securing digital transformation initiatives and managing complex cyber risks. He leads large-scale international engagements and contributes to the development of the firm’s global cybersecurity offering, working closely with teams across major international hubs.
Gérôme is particularly involved in advancing innovative approaches to digital trust and supporting organizations in addressing emerging challenges related to new technologies. He notably leads Wavestone’s efforts at the intersection of cybersecurity and artificial intelligence, focusing on how to secure AI systems while also leveraging AI to accelerate cyber defense capabilities.
He is actively engaged in the cybersecurity ecosystem as a board member of CLUSIF and Campus Cyber and is a recognized thought leader in the field. A frequent speaker and media contributor, he regularly shares insights on cyber threats, risk management, and digital resilience. His perspective can be found across numerous publications he has authored, including a book on cybersecurity and cyber risk management.
