Many fundamental trends such as deregulation and competition, the development of new services, the evolution of fixed access network use and the apparition of high speed internet, the migration of mobile networks to data led to the progressive mutation of telecommunications networks into a new generation (NGN).

The arrangement of this next generation networks with current networks whether fixed or mobile is decided today, already affecting future economic models and access means to services.
The Authority ordered this study on the evolution towards NGN to Arcome to be enlightened on technical, economical and regulatory issues associated with this trend. By publishing this study, the regulator wishes to contribute to nourish the reflection on the potentially important impact of these networks.
SoluCom contributes to Cigref's report on "e-procurement and marketplaces".
SoluCom's e-business team has taken part in the production of Cigref's report on e-procurement and marketplaces through its mission of support of the IMP project managed by Virginie Beauvais from Cigref. The IMP consortium was founded by Air France, Axa, la Générale des Eaux, Framatome ANP, La Poste, LVMH, MAAF, Renault, Snecma, Unedic.
SoluCom notably intervened in the phase of study of the potential and feasibility of a digital marketplace focused on IT goods and services. It also contributed to the synthesis phase, which aimed at drawing conclusions from this initiative for all e-procurement projects.
Olivier Porte, Director of SoluCom's e-business division said: "Major corporations are offered many choices: develop their own marketplace, join a consortium, use an internal e-procurement system or ASP, connect to suppliers' web sites or develop private directories. In this context, we are delighted to have supported IMP and the Cigref in their reflection that will allow major companies to better assess the consequences of their own choices"
