Biographie of Etienne Scotto d’Apollonia
Etienne Scotto d’Apollonia has been with Wavestone since 2015, where he supports financial institutions in their transformation programs, particularly on regulatory and compliance topics.
Etienne is a Manager in the Financial Services practice at Wavestone. He started his consulting career in 2013 before joining Wavestone, following the completion of a master’s degree in economics from Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and Université Paris-Saclay.
He has gained extensive experience leading transformation programs within the financial services sector, working across banking and insurance, particularly on topics such as KYC, anti-money laundering, fraud, and continuous controls. His consulting experience has given him a strong understanding of both regulatory frameworks, and the technological challenges faced by institutions.
In addition to his client work, he leads the Innovation Lab of the Financial Services practice, focusing on emerging topics such as RegTech and artificial intelligence. He contributes to the development of innovative solutions and fosters connections with the tech ecosystem.
Etienne has a strong interest in innovation and strives to support organizations in leveraging technology to transform their compliance functions.
