We are committed to fostering diversity and building an inclusive workplace where each employee can be themselves. To turn this commitment into action, we implement targeted action plans focused on key dimensions of diversity, supported by our employee networks.
We place a strong emphasis on promoting gender equality, supporting individuals with disabilities, and creating an inclusive workspace for LGBT+ people. Beyond these efforts, our teams and employee networks are also dedicated to fostering cultural and ethnic diversity and supporting our senior employees, ensuring our workplace reflects the diversity of the world around us.
Gender equality – Increase female representation in management roles
Creating an inclusive environment where everyone, regardless of their gender, can thrive is key to building a sustainable future at Wavestone.
We’ve embarked on a continuous improvement journey to understand and address gender imbalances across all levels of our organization and in all our geographies. We’ve set a clear ambition: increase female representativity into management roles, to ultimately reach the same rate than in our overall workforce. This has guided our focus towards five priority areas:
- Accelerating gender diversity in recruitment
- Ensuring equal treatment in performance assessment, promotion and compensation
- Fighting stereotypes, sexism and sexual harassment
- Promoting a healthy work-life balance for all employees
- Supporting caregivers in achieving a healthy work-life balance
To continuously prevent and raise awareness on sexism and harassment, our employees follow a mandatory training program and benefit from global initiatives such as Voices@Wavestone which showcases testimonies from women and men on their personal journey. As a voice for gender equality beyond our organisation, we actively support initiatives such as the Women’s Forum Global Meeting, Femmes@Numérique, Charter of Diversity and #StOpE helping to promote gender equality across industries.
Legal obligations regarding professional gender equality (France)
In accordance with the law “for the freedom to choose one’s professional future” of September 5, 2018 (known as the Pénicaud Law), Wavestone publishes an overall score of 87/100 on the Gender Equality Index for its Economic and Social Unit, as of March 1, 2026.
This index aims to measure and correct pay gaps between women and men. It is based on five indicators:
- Pay gap: 37/40 points
- Gap in individual raise rates: 20/20 points
- Gap in promotion rates: 15/15 points
- Salary increases for women returning from maternity leave: 15/15 points
- Number of employees of the underrepresented gender among the 10 highest salaries: 0/10 points
In application of the Rixain Law, Wavestone publishes each year the data relating to the representation of women and men among senior executives and within governing bodies.
The law sets a target of 30% women in 2026, then 40% in 2029.
- Wavestone does not have Senior Executives as defined by the French law, instead, it operates with an Executive Committee.
- As of March 31, 2025, women represented 35% of this Committee.
In accordance with the Copé–Zimmerman Law, which requires a minimum of 40% women on the boards of directors and supervisory boards of large companies, Wavestone reports that women represented 50% of its Board of Directors as of March 1, 2026.
Disability inclusion – Empower all our people to succeed
We see ability in everyone and value the unique strengths each person brings to our teams. Our mission is to ensure that individuals with disabilities or health situations not only find a welcoming environment but are empowered to succeed.
We are committed to removing barriers and providing tailored support, so that everyone can thrive and contribute to their full potential in an inclusive and supportive environment. To achieve this, we equip our HR teams and line managers with the tools to offer personalised career paths and workplace accommodations, helping to create an accessible environment for all. In parallel, we run awareness initiatives — including training sessions, roundtables, and conferences — to foster understanding, inclusion, and allyship across the organisation.
Disability corporate agreement (France)
Since 2023, Wavestone has reached a new milestone, with the signature of a 3-year corporate agreement with its employee representatives in France, agreed with the French State, with ambitious objectives related to hiring and career development for people with disabilities or health situations.
LGBT+ Inclusion – Offer a safe and supportive environment
Our commitment to LGBT+ inclusion means creating a safe, respectful, and supportive environment where everyone can thrive. We are proud signatories of the L’Autre Cercle Charter and actively support this leading organisation advocating for LGBT+ inclusion in the workplace in France. Across all levels and geographies of our organisation, we promote equality, respect, and allyship through dedicated training and awareness initiatives.
