Wavestone confirms its Microsoft Copilot Specialist certification

July 8, 2026 · Press Releases

  • Building on more than 60 major accounts already supported on Microsoft Copilot, the consulting firm is leveraging a task force of 1,000 employees mobilised on AI projects in 2025
  • AI will represent 25% of Wavestone’s revenue by the end of the current fiscal year, supported by a large-scale training plan for its teams

As companies seek to move beyond the experimentation stage to industrialise the use of artificial intelligence, Wavestone, a consulting firm specialising in business transformation, announces that it has obtained the Microsoft Copilot Specialist certification. This distinction validates the firm’s cutting-edge expertise in the integration, security, and adoption of AI technologies at scale within organisations.

From experimentation to business impact: over 60 major accounts supported

Since the launch of its strategic collaboration in 2023, Wavestone has established itself as one of Microsoft’s leading partners for Copilot deployment. To date, the firm has already supported more than 60 major French and international companies in their deployment journeys.

This certification confirms Wavestone’s expertise across the entire Microsoft ecosystem (Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Chat, Cowork, Copilot Studio and agents) by combining several complementary dimensions:

  • “Copilot for All” adoption: a change management approach to engage all employees at scale.
  • Impact and “business value”: a focus on high-impact use cases, including agent-based ones, capable of assisting, automating, or transforming key business processes.
  • Cybersecurity and governance: the implementation of measures to frame the use of AI within organisations and to mitigate risks associated with its professional use.

A unique delivery capability and a large-scale training plan

To support this transition, Wavestone has made substantial investments in developing its talent in order to advise its clients with the highest level of relevance:

  • 1,000 employees are currently mobilised on AI topics within the firm, including 200 consultants dedicated specifically to Copilot projects.
  • As part of Lead the Shift, its strategic plan with a 2030 horizon, Wavestone plans to invest €100 million in operating expenses (OPEX) to accelerate its AI strategy. This major investment notably includes 100,000 person-days devoted to upskilling teams, as well as funding for tools, marketing initiatives, innovation, and co-investment with clients. This investment will notably finance team upskilling, tools, marketing initiatives, innovation, and co-investment with clients.
  • In parallel, 2% of the firm’s payroll is allocated to training all its teams in breakthrough technologies.
  • Sustained growth momentum: reflecting accelerating demand, AI-related activities are expected to account for 25% of Wavestone’s revenue for the 2026/27 financial year (compared with 17% in 2025/26).

An ecosystem strategy for tailored consulting

While strengthening this major strategic alliance with Microsoft, Wavestone maintains an open and diversified consulting approach. To guarantee each client the technology solution best suited to its specific needs, the firm relies on a broad ecosystem of partners, ranging from major global technology leaders to more specialised software vendors and data platforms. This ability to orchestrate different technologies is key to building tailored and high-performing solutions.

Julien Floch, Associate Partner at Wavestone, states: “Moving from technological curiosity to the responsible and secure industrialisation of generative AI is the major challenge facing organisations today. This specialisation awarded by Microsoft, demonstrates our partner’s trust and our unique ability to maximise the value of Copilot for our clients. Our substantial investments in training our own consultants enable us to act as an essential bridge between technological power and the reality of business operations.
