Diversity & Inclusion

We are committed to fostering diversity and building an inclusive workplace where each employee can be themselves. To turn this commitment into action, we implement targeted action plans focused on key dimensions of diversity, supported by our employee networks.

We place a strong emphasis on promoting gender equality, supporting individuals with disabilities, and creating an inclusive workspace for LGBT+ people. Beyond these efforts, our teams and employee networks are also dedicated to fostering cultural and ethnic diversity and supporting our senior employees, ensuring our workplace reflects the diversity of the world around us.

Gender equality – Increase female representation in management roles

Creating an inclusive environment where everyone, regardless of their gender, can thrive is key to building a sustainable future at Wavestone.

We’ve embarked on a continuous improvement journey to understand and address gender imbalances across all levels of our organization and in all our geographies. We’ve set a clear ambition: increase female representativity into management roles, to ultimately reach the same rate than in our overall workforce. This has guided our focus towards five priority areas:

  • Accelerating gender diversity in recruitment
  • Ensuring equal treatment in performance assessment, promotion and compensation
  • Fighting stereotypes, sexism and sexual harassment
  • Promoting a healthy work-life balance for all employees
  • Supporting caregivers in achieving a healthy work-life balance

To continuously prevent and raise awareness on sexism and harassment, our employees follow a mandatory training program and benefit from global initiatives such as Voices@Wavestone which showcases testimonies from women and men on their personal journey. As a voice for gender equality beyond our organisation, we actively support initiatives such as the Women’s Forum Global Meeting, Femmes@Numérique, Charter of Diversity and #StOpE helping to promote gender equality across industries.

As of March 1, 2025, in accordance with the French law “for the freedom to choose one’s professional future” introduced on September 5, 2018, Wavestone announces an overall score of 87/100 on the Gender Equality Index for Wavestone social and economic unit. This law aims, in particular, to eliminate the gender pay gap in France.

Disability inclusion – Empower all our people to succeed

We see ability in everyone and value the unique strengths each person brings to our teams. Our mission is to ensure that individuals with disabilities or health situations not only find a welcoming environment but are empowered to succeed.

We are committed to removing barriers and providing tailored support, so that everyone can thrive and contribute to their full potential in an inclusive and supportive environment. To achieve this, we equip our HR teams and line managers with the tools to offer personalised career paths and workplace accommodations, helping to create an accessible environment for all. In parallel, we run awareness initiatives — including training sessions, roundtables, and conferences — to foster understanding, inclusion, and allyship across the organisation.

 Disability corporate agreement (France)

Since 2023, Wavestone has reached a new milestone, with the signature of a 3-year corporate agreement with its employee representatives in France, agreed with the French State, with ambitious objectives related to hiring and career development for people with disabilities or health situations.

LGBT+ Inclusion – Offer a safe and supportive environment

Our commitment to LGBT+ inclusion means creating a safe, respectful, and supportive environment where everyone can thrive. We are proud signatories of the L’Autre Cercle Charter and actively support this leading organisation advocating for LGBT+ inclusion in the workplace in France. Across all levels and geographies of our organisation, we promote equality, respect, and allyship through dedicated training and awareness initiatives.

Wavestone for All, an employee network built by our people, for our people

At the heart of our commitment to inclusion is Wavestone for All, our employee network dedicated to fostering connection, awareness, and allyship across diverse groups.

Created by employees and for employees more than 7 years ago, this collective champions diversity and inclusion through dialogue, collaboration, and action. Whether by organizing events, advocating for inclusive policies, or offering a supportive space for sharing ideas and concerns, Wavestone for All empowers every voice and accelerates our progress toward a truly inclusive workplace.

Working closely with the Works Council, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Human Resources teams, the network ensures that all employees feel seen, heard, and supported.
