Independent recognition of measurable ESG progress

Wavestone has earned an EcoVadis Gold medal with a score of 86/100, up 14 points compared with the previous assessment. Based on FY2025/26 data, this result places Wavestone in the Top 5% of companies assessed worldwide and represents the firm’s highest EcoVadis score to date.

The result provides independent recognition of the progress made by Wavestone in strengthening and deploying its ESG policies, actions, management systems and performance indicators across the firm.

It also contributes to Wavestone’s Lead the shift ambition to rank among the top 5% of companies for ESG performance.

Concrete progress across three key areas

The improvement follows a targeted action plan launched after the 2025 assessment. It reflects significant progress across three areas:

  • Sustainable Procurement increased by 36 points, from 41/100 to 77/100: This progress was supported by a new policy, ESG clauses in supplier contracts, a supplier code of conduct and an ESG risk assessment of suppliers.
  • Ethics increased by 26 points, from 65/100 to 91/100: The result reflects the strengthening of Wavestone’s group-wide ethics framework.
  • Labour & Human Rights increased by 4 points, from 87/100 to 91/100: This progress was supported by social indicators covering a broader scope and the publication of new KPIs.

Wavestone’s Environment score remained stable at 82/100.

These results demonstrate progress not only in the commitments defined by Wavestone, but also in the firm’s ability to deploy, document and monitor them consistently.

Broader recognition of Wavestone’s ESG performance

Beyond EcoVadis, other leading ESG assessments also recognize Wavestone’s progress:

  • MSCI upgraded Wavestone from A to AA.
  • EthiFinance once again awarded the firm its highest distinction, Platinum, with a score of 90/100.
  • Morningstar Sustainalytics improved Wavestone’s ESG Risk Score from 17.4 to 12.3. The result places Wavestone in the Low Risk category and within the top 5% of the IT Consulting sector.

Together, these results provide independent recognition of Wavestone’s progress and reinforce the firm’s ability to demonstrate its ESG performance through robust policies, measurable indicators and consistent execution.

Turning progress into lasting performance

Wavestone will continue to strengthen its ESG performance by rolling out its Sustainable Procurement action plan and Responsible Consulting approach, and by addressing the remaining improvement areas identified through the assessment.

The objective is to build on the progress achieved, maintain a high level of ESG performance and retain the EcoVadis Gold medal next year.

This result reflects a collective effort across Wavestone’s businesses and corporate functions, with a major contribution from the CSR and ESG reporting teams.
