Biography of Elio Bohner
Elio Bohner is a Senior Manager at Wavestone in Switzerland. In this role, he is part of the leadership team, heading a unit of over 20 employees and developing innovative processes, products, and business models for global clients. Driven by his philosophy, “The glass is not half empty or half full, it’s refillable,” the ambitious and solution-oriented consultant considers himself an expert in business design and digital transformation. In recognition of its successful work in customer experience management, his team was honored with the prestigious Client Satisfaction Award in 2025.
He underpins his strong foundation in healthcare and life sciences through his concurrent, long-standing role as Managing Director at PatientStrength. Prior to joining Wavestone, he gained valuable transformation experience at inacta AG. His academic career took him to Concordia University in Canada for a bachelor’s degree in International Business, before he successfully completed his master’s degree at the ZHAW School of Management and Law in Switzerland, graduating on the Dean’s List.
In addition to his consulting expertise, which is backed by credentials such as Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist and ITIL Foundation, Elio Bohner also demonstrates a strong commitment to social responsibility. For instance, he spent four years volunteering in regional ice hockey as President of EHC Frauenfeld and as a member of the Board of Directors for the HCT Young Lions. In his professional environment, he is particularly passionate about diversity and equal opportunity, actively advocating for the advancement and growth of women in the tech and consulting industries.
