Biography of Marcel Flügel
Marcel Flügel is an experienced expert in digital transformation within the fields of Public Services, Safety, and Justice. As a Senior Manager at Wavestone, he is responsible for the targeted expansion of the Public Safety & Justice practice. His work focuses on supporting complex transformation initiatives, with particular enthusiasm for process optimization, innovation, and the secure digitalization of public-sector institutions.
Marcel holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from ETH Zurich and brings approximately ten years of experience in project delivery and consulting within the public sector. His in-depth industry expertise in the security domain was established earlier through his many years of professional activity in the security environment at Zurich Airport.
Marcel Flügel possesses a broad range of certified methodological competencies, including HERMES Advanced, ITIL Expert, IREB, SCRUM, and SAFe. Most recently, he further strengthened his leadership capabilities in project management by successfully achieving the IPMA Level B certification.
