Biography of Paul Barbaste
Paul Barbaste has been with Wavestone since 2025, where he contributes to the development and deployment of advanced artificial intelligence solutions, with a focus on applied and agentic AI.
Paul is currently a Senior Applied AI Engineer and Forward Deployed Engineer Lead at Wavestone. In this role, he designs and deploys production-grade AI applications across sectors such as energy and banking and contributes to the structuring of best practices for AI systems.
He began his career in technology-driven roles and developed his expertise in artificial intelligence and deep tech through his studies at École Polytechnique and HEC Paris. In parallel, he is co-founder of Inclusive Brains, where he has led the development of a brain-computer interface platform, notably used during the Paris 2024 Olympic flame relay.
Through these experiences, he has developed strong expertise in applied AI and innovative technologies, combining technical excellence with real-world impact.
He is particularly engaged in leveraging artificial intelligence to develop impactful solutions, notably in the fields of accessibility and inclusion.
