Solucom Group posted 2006/2007 consolidated revenues for the six months ended 30 September of € 22.7m, up 35%.
Adjusting for the acquisition of New'Arch, growth for the half year amounted to 30%, which is exactly in line with the Group's development plan.
These results include Dreamsoft, which posted revenues of € 4.3m over the period. Dreamsoft's revenues were boosted by the decision to combine all Group activities relating to software architecture within Dreamsoft, which, as in the first quarter, makes it impossible to compare with prior years on a like-for-like consolidation basis.
Sharp increase in employees
Solucom continued to focus on recruitment with considerable success. At 30 September, the Group including New'Arch employed 465 staff, up from 392 six months earlier. The Group is now close to its objective in respect of 2007 to reach a total of 500 staff.
Confirmed 2006/2007 outlook
Solucom's first half results make it one of the fastest-growing firms in the IS services business in general and particularly in the consulting segment of the market. It confirms the Group's objective to post overall annual growth of at least 20% over 2005/2006 consolidating Dreamsoft over a 12 months period compared with 6 months the prior year. This increase will be further boosted by the contribution of New'Arch over 8 months and KLC over 5 months. The acquisition of KLC was announced on 8 November 2006.
Solucom will publish its new objectives for the current year when it releases its half year results.
Next update: Half Year Results 2006/2007, on 12 December 2006 (after close of trading).
