Where we come from
European roots powering a global impact
Wavestone’s journey began in France in 1990 with the establishment of its predecessor, Solucom. Going public in 2000, the business consultancy later merged with Kurt Salmon in 2016 to focus on international expansion. In parallel, Q_PERIOR, a German consulting firm with origins dating back to 1977, emerged in 2011 following a merger, carving out a distinctive niche in the industry with its unique approach.
In 2023, Wavestone and Q_PERIOR joined forces, blending their complementary expertise and shared culture. Expanding into the UK (Pen Partnership, Coeus Consulting) and the US (Aspirant Consulting), Wavestone continues to deliver impactful solutions globally while remaining true, and committed to, its European roots.
