Background

The French Post is facing new challenges in the execution of its 2020 strategy. Firstly, the environment has changed, with the evolution of uses and the adaptation of the offers to answer market and clients’ needs: digital revolution, strong competition for parcel and express delivery, evolution of the banking marketplace (strong regulatory rules, low interest rates, online banking). Secondly, IT teams are now faced with several key challenges, including: the development of new services based on Information Technologies, the maintenance of current offers, and the end of life of several legacy technologies.The current insourced model of the French Post for delivering telecom services is not sustainable in financial or operational terms., Hence, the Program aims to transform this model into an outsourced one.

Challenges

This transformation will have a significant impact on the Group and its 18,000 offices. It has the following objectives:

  • Make large cuts to network and telecom expenses;
  • Support the evolution of Business activities with enhanced flexibility and quality of service;
  • Ensure a smooth transition between the old and the new model.
